Meaning of LIFE
Discover the strength to live another day and find your purpose in life through the words of our loving Father.

Everyone asks what’s the meaning of life, purpose of my life? Why do we exist?
With the time spent on these questions, not many actually live their lives.
Life is a mystery, yes. It’s a thing we all share in common with each other and different from each other.
Something so whimsical at times and purposeful at others. Why is it so complex?
Humans don’t/didn’t create life, they continue it. Similarly, humans can’t comprehend life, they live life. (Or are supposed to.)
God created life. God comprehends every aspect of life perfectly. God created us. God created us to LIVE.
He never once declared it would be easy. He never once declared it would go in our favor all the time. No.
GOD granted us these lives for a purpose, yes. For what purpose?
He is artistic. He is expressive. The universe is His art. His creation. Including each and every one of us. He loves us. He loves this world. This art piece, He calls it a masterpiece. His masterpiece( just look at genesis 1). What He wants from us, from all His creation is to love Him back for He is our creator. HE gave us life. HE made us exist. HE loves us.
All He wants is for us to love Him back. Akin to a son, his Father. A creation, his creator.
It’s not unreasonable is it? Is it too much to ask?
If He was fundamentally imperfect or evil or human in any sense, or if I were Him:
Creates humans.
Humans doubt me, disobey me, lie, and are ashamed to meet me. Keep sinning despite countless reminders.
I scrap my art piece. It’s not a masterpiece anymore. Meaning, it never was a timeless masterpiece. I hate it now. No one loves me anymore. My own creation disowned me as their creator.
I create a new masterpiece. Fresh start. No more avenues for screw-ups. No more tree of knowledge of good and evil. No more tree of life. No free will. Just creatures programmed for the sole purpose of pleasing me and saying I’m the best creator ever.
But GOD’s perfect in every single way imaginable and unimaginable.
He not only kept us living. He proceeds to keep loving us despite all our rejections, idols, flaws, sins, hatred, despite us literally disowning Him as our God.
He still loves us. HE STILL WILLS US TO BE SAVED ->
SAVED FROM DAMNATION, SAVED FROM THE SHREDDER.
THE SHREDDER WANTS US ALL TO BE SCRAPPED. THE SHREDDER HIMSELF CAN'T COMPREHEND WHY GOD IS ABLE TO STAND US, WHY GOD CAN CONTINUE LOVING US, CONTINUE SUPPORTING US DESPITE ALL OUR HEARTS. OUR HEARTS WANTING TO SIN, WANTING TO NOT BELIEVE GOD. Consequently pulling ourselves into the shredder.
( Ezekiel 33:11, He says, "I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turn from his way and live.") ( Luke 19:10, Jesus said, “The Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.” ->the son of man being Him.)
Our hearts darkened, shut and fearful.
Darkened by the world we ourselves have destroyed. Shut from Jesus, from God’s goodness, His grace, His LIFE, His plan, His help, His LOVE.
Fearful of death, of the World, of LIFE.
WE CAN'T COMPREHEND HIS PERFECT, UNCONDITIONAL LOVE FOR US. BUT AS HUMANS, HAVEN’T WE LEARNED TO ASK FOR HELP?
THERE IS A REASON WHY LIFE IS DIFFICULT. IT MAY BE BECAUSE WE MADE IT SO BY SINNING. BUT IT IS ALSO TO TEACH US ONE VERY VALUABLE LESSON:
We are not alone.
If you try to tackle everything life throws at you by yourself, I’d be surprised if you manage to ‘live’ till 60; without hating your life, without wondering what was the point of all the suffering. Ask for help. Humans were never designed to toil away and suffer, let alone that alone. Hell no. God didn’t want that for His creation. Go read Genesis. (In fact, He even created women because He didn’t want men to be lonely and without help.) God was so close to us. We could hear His voice clearer than the world’s best speaker. Yet we wanted to stand as equals with God, we felt God was stopping us from becoming a god like Him, that He felt threatened by us.
Haha if that was really true, why did He place us in the garden so close to the trees that could supposedly make us equal to Him? If that was true, why did He allow the serpent to say those things to us? After all, we know He is our creator and God.
By sinning we pushed Him away. Him being the embodiment of Holy and pure and us that of sinful and unclean created a barrier.
Jesus Christ came and shattered that barrier. He didn’t just die cause He wanted fame or for people to see how holy he is. He died for our sins. He died exactly to open the door to heaven, to God; for not just the people at the time but for us all.
A human doing these things? How can a mere human pay for our sins? How come a mere human’s death, life and stories are being told to this day and still debated on, still followed, still believed?
It’s because He wasn’t just human. He resurrected 3 days later proving His words that he truly is the TRUTH, the WAY and the LIFE. HE HAD CONQUERED DEATH. HE IS ETERNAL LIFE. ( John 14:6, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.")
God couldn’t stand to watch us, his masterpiece, go into the indiscriminate shredder. And although God can pull us out, if we keep biting His hand and pulling ourselves back into the shredder, we are doomed.
And thus He sent His only begotten son, Jesus Christ, to become the button on the shredder. Give us another chance to think about where we are going. Another chance to see the light. To see the caution symbol.
And then all you have to do is push this stop button to return to God. RETURN TO YOUR CREATOR. HE MISSES YOU.
JESUS IS PRAYING, INTERCEDING FOR YOU. ( Hebrews 7:25 )
HE IS HERE FOR YOU. LEAN ON HIM. ACCEPT HIS EMBRACE. (Luke 15:11–32)
Despite the life you lived or didn’t live, as long as you pushed the stop button and didn’t shred yourself,
HE WILL SAY TO YOU, “I LOVE YOU MY SON.” AND HE WILL REJOICE FOR ANOTHER ONE OF THE PRECIOUS SHEEP HE PAINTED HAS RETURNED TO HIM. ( 2 Peter 3:9, Luke 15:7 )
I think I just demystified life to the extent of my current brain capacity. It was never manufactured to hurt us and break us in the beginning.
But in time, it became something we fear, possibly more than God, our own creator, the One who gave us ‘life’, who built ‘life’.
Many of us fear what will come tomorrow, ten years down the road, will I be financially stable, paying taxes, having a family, yada yada.
But have we ever once taken a chance to reflect on whether these things truly are a big worry if all this stops in 60-120 years and we just die? You can’t take your money, wife and kids into your grave after death.
Is life really meaningless after all then?
If you were to think that you die and it’s The End. Then, why the hell are you even worried about taxes and stuff. Worry about how meaningless your short life is.
If you want to live a meaningful life. Open your eyes. Look at the sun. Look at the earth. Look at the animals. Look at the humans. Look at your loved ones. Look at yourself in the mirror. Nothing is ugly. We think we are ugly because the world has said what it thinks is ugly. But in reality, we are by nature beings filled with love and beauty.
What is one thing that separates us from everything else? Love, not sex, not reproduction. LOVE. And it is so complex that we think we understand how it begins and works but actually we know next to nothing, we keep on discovering but still can’t understand the depth of the emotion. Because it comes from God. It’s not some big bang explosion. It’s not just some chemical reaction. I can tell you no amount of explosives or chemicals will create true love.
Only GOD CAN and HAS. It’s still in us.
Even if you can’t love yourself, love HIM who created you and sees you as perfect. I MEAN HOW COULD YOU NOT? HE LOVES US TO THE POINT OF DEATH. HE WOULD RATHER DIE THAN TO SEE US PERISH. ( Ezekiel 33:11 - Say to them, ‘As surely as I live, declares the Sovereign LORD, I take no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but rather that they turn from their ways and live. Turn! Turn from your evil ways! Why will you die, people of Israel?’)
It doesn’t just apply to Israel. He sent Jesus to die for everyone. Anyone who believes in Him is saved, will have eternal life with God in a place of no suffering.
( Colossians 3: 11 - Here there is not Greek and Jew, circumcised and uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave, free; but Christ is all, and in all. ) {actually just read the whole of Colossians 3.}
That’s LIFE NOW.
A choice to love Him Or love going into the shredder. A choice to believe our lives are meaningful and that there’s always someone in love with us Or that our lives amount to nothing and that no one truly cares for us to the point that we just exist to disappear soon after. I don’t remember a thing about my great great great grandfather, harsh truth, no one in the present does but guess who does? Our Sovereign God. ( Luke 12:7 - God knows the number of hair on our heads. Isaiah 43:25 - “I, I am he who blots out your transgressions for my own sake, and I will not remember your sins. ) {Yes the all powerful omniscient God chooses to forget our sins if we confess and repent for them.}
So will you press the stop button now or wait for another sign or another evidence which could very well be too late?
Are you thinking maybe this stuff is true?
Remember Belief does not require evidence or signs. Belief means seeing things you can’t really see well or at all.
Once shaken by trouble, beliefs can crumble.
Don’t stop at believing something is real.
Turn your belief into strong faith by learning about the evidence/signs our gracious God has placed everywhere. Many right in front of our eyes, glaring. Many are right in our hearts or in our pasts.
May not be physical evidence, though there are, could be experiences, things you can’t explain, things that can’t possibly be chalked up as coincidences or luck or probability.
Our minds trick us into thinking it’s not from God, tell your mind to shut up. Our minds/brains aren’t perfect. We aren’t perfect. Ever since Adam and Eve brought sin into the world, all of us are born imperfect, defected from God. We think we are strong, we live on our own strength and that we have figured out almost everything. But have we really? Hell, we can’t even figure out peace between one another.
Truth is, we are only strong, only perfect in Him and by Him.
Another thing, I just learnt is that if you truly love someone, you would not only forgive and forget their wrongdoings to you but also pray and do things to try and make them change, change their attitudes such that they will stop doing the wrongs. Not for your sake. For them.
God sent his son down to be sacrificed for us, while we were yet sinning against Him. He is changing us, molding us in ways we cannot see. But I mean, you can see people change. People change for other people.
Will you change if not for yourself, for your creator, your father, the one that can save you?
